Youlston Park

  • House & Family History: In 1920 Amy Royle purchased Youlston Park from Edward Chichester for £8,300. In 1972 the estate was sold to J.S.C. Clark for £17,000. The house, together with 158 acres, was listed for sale in April of 2003 for £3 million.

    Comments: Pevsner on Youlston: "the unassuming Georgian exterior conceals a house of complex development; one of the most rewarding in North Devon."
