St. Piere Park (St. Pierre Park)

  • House & Family History: The village of St. Pierre was owned by the Lewis family from circa 1500 until the early 20th century. The House is of varying dates, with the earliest probably being of the 16th century. Morgan Lewis added to the House in 1765, with later remodelings and enlargements, circa 1870s, probably carried out by Charles Edward Lewis.

  • Garden & Outbuildings: John Newman calls the Gatehouse, possibly built by Henry Lewis in the 16th century, "the most impresive feature" of the remaining Estate buildings.
