Singleton Abbey (Marino)

  • House & Family History: In 1919 the 2nd Lord Swansea sold Singleton Abbey to the Swansea Corporation. In 1920 the corporation leased the house to University College of Swansea; in 1923 the corporation sold Singleton Abbey to what is today Swansea University, formerly University of Wales, Swansea.
