The house from a 1906 postcard
Built / Designed For: Thomas Seckford
House & Family History: Thomas Seckford entertained Elizabeth I at Seckford Hall in 1588. In 1915, when she was a teenager, children's book author Enid Blyton came to stay with the Hunts at Seckford, whose secret passageway and haunted rooms probably inspired her "Famous Five" novels.
Collections: Seckford Hall supposedly contains the chair in which King Henry VII is said to have died.
