House & Family History: During the 20th century Sandhill Park was used as a prisoner of war camp, a home for handicapped children, and a military and civilian hospital. In 2013 Sandhill Park was purchased by the developer Strongvox Homes, who, in 2012, received planning permission for 28 detached houses and the conversion of the mansion house into 26 apartments.
