Sir Hubert Medlycott (1841-1920) of Ven House, the last and 6th Baronet, moved out of Ven circa 1916 and made his residence at nearby Sandford Orcas, where his descendants remained until 2023, when that house, together with 72 acres, was listed for sale for £6.5 million.
Collections: On March 6, 2024, the auction firm of Duke's sold the contents of Sandford Orcas Manor for a total of £1.1 million.
Comments: Arthur Oswald called Sandford Orcas Manor "one of the most charming manor houses in the West of England."
