Saling Hall

  • House & Family History: Major alterations were made to the House and garden for Martin Carter and son. The two entrances date from circa 1790. The Countess of Carlisle resided in the House in 1935. Current owner and writer Hugh Johnson purchased the House in 1971. The garden was later added for H. Johnson.
