Ridgeway House

  • House Replaced By: In 1807 Ridgeway House was sold to the Protestant Dissenters Grammar School (later Mill Hill School), who demolished the house in the 1820s and replaced it with the school buildings that remain on the site today.

  • Garden & Outbuildings: In the 18th century Ridgeway was the home of the noted botanist Peter Collinson, who planted Britain's first hydrangea on the grounds.
