Plas Yn Rhiw

  • Earlier Houses: The current Georgian faÔö£┬║ade covers a Tudor house.

House & Family History: The Parlour, with walls that are seven-to-eight feet thick, contains the remains of a 16th century stone spiral staircase, a survivor of the earlier Tudor house on the site. Plas Yn Rhiw is famous for the story of the three sisters (Eileen, Honora, and Lorna) Keating who purchased the Estate in 1938 and sensitively restored it, after 20 years of neglect.

Comments: The views across Cardigan Bay are among the most spectacular in Britain.
