Pitliver House

  • Built / Designed For: James Leslie

    House & Family History: Pitliver was originally a laird's house that was enlarged in the 18th century and again in the 19th century in the Scottish Baronial style. The original house was probably begun post 1623, when James Leslie acquired the property. The Wellwood family purchased Pitliver in 1733. The interiors are in the Georgian style and were installed by James Shearer between 1935 and 1936.
