House & Family History: Peover Hall is an Elizabethan manor house with a carved staircase, paneled walls, and a fine long gallery. The dining room contains carved pilasters from Oteley Hall, Shropshire. During World War II Peover served as a POW camp and as the headquarters of General George Patton's 3rd Army (American).

  • Garden & Outbuildings: Peover has a fine 20th century Arts & Crafts garden, an avenue of lime trees, yew hedges, a rose garden, a white garden, a pink garden, and a lily pool with a summer house. The Grade I-listed Restoration stables are brick with mullioned windows; they are particularly noted for their remarkable and rare plasterwork ceilings.
