    House & Family History: Papplewick is noted for its outstanding plasterwork. The late 18th century Neoclassical chimneypiece in the dining room was removed from Shalford House in Surrey, which was demolished in 1968. Papplewick Hall, together with 10 acres, was listed for sale in 2025 for £3.25 million.
