Old Hewell Grange

  • House & Family History: Some exterior walls and the grand entrance facade (a six-columned portico with the arms of the earls of Plymouth arms in the tympanum) are pretty much all that remains of the house. This is because of a July 1889 fireworks display for the Shah of Persia that went wrong, setting Old Hewell Grange on fire.
