House & Family History: Norcliffe Hall is an Elizabethan style house built of Flemish bond orange brick with pink sandstone dressings and a Welsh slate roof. The House was built in the early 19th century for mill owner Robert Hyde Greg (proprietor of Quarry Bank Mill).
