Notes: Articled to Augustus Charles Pugin in 1824. Worked with A.W.N. Pugin as lithographer and engraver, including on Charles Barry's designs for decoration of the Houses of Parliament. Also worked with Owen Jones as an engraver. Bury began his own practice in Soho in 1830 and was in partnership with Charles Lee from 1845, for approximately four years. Bury was sometime assistant to Lewis Vulliamy.
