Moulsham Hall

  • Earlier Houses: There was an earlier house on the site, elements of which may have been incorporated into the 18th century house.

    House & Family History: Moulsham was a large brick house with stone pilasters that featured important 1730s plasterwork by Bagutti in the hall and dining room. Two Samuel Carpenter-designed statues which may have once decorated the pediment and parapet at Moulsham are today on the lawn at Woodhill House, Essex.
