Notes: William Hiorne was a Warwick architect who, together with his brother David, worked for William Smith ("Smith of Warwick"), eventually taking over Smith's practice. The brothers designed numerous buildings in the Midlands. William was the executant architect for Arbury Hall, generally considered the first Gothick style house in Britain. He was the father of Francis Hiorne.
