House & Family History: During World War II Meols was occupied by Belgian troops. When Roger Fleetwood-Hesketh rebuilt the house in 1960s he incorporated parts of demolished English houses, including elements from Lathom House and bricks from Tulketh Hall.
Collections: The library fireplace surround was supposedly made from marble excavated from Hadrian's Villa near Tivoli.
Garden & Outbuildings: The 16th century tithe barn is one of the finest extant examples of its kind in England.
