House & Family History: In 2022 the house, together with 36 acres, was listed for sale for £3.5 million (the Cookson family will keep the larger 3,800-acre Meldon Park Estate).
Collections: Some of the contents of Meldon were auctioned in Feb of 2023 by Bonhams in Edinburgh and Railtons of Northumberland.
Garden & Outbuildings: Meldon has a famous collection of rhododendrons and a fine kitchen garden. The Morpeth Hunt was founded here in 1818.
