Martinstown House

  • House & Family History: Originally a 1730s farmhouse, Martinstown House was turned into a Strawberry Hill Gothic style cottage orné by the English architect Decimus Burton in early 19th century for the 3rd Duke of Leinster. The current owner’s family acquired Martinstown House in the 1960s.

  • Garden & Outbuildings: Today nestled in a 140-acre miniature park, the estate features a beautiful walled garden filled with vivid color and striking scents, a formal Italian garden, a fine collection of old trees, and a bird sanctuary.
