Collections: One of Thomas Gainsborough's most famous full length portraits, "The Hon. Mrs. Graham" (see "Images" section), was once in the collection of Lynedoch Lodge. Mrs. Graham (nee Mary Cathcart, daughter of the 9th Lord Cathcart) was the wife of Thomas Graham (later 1st Baron Lynedoch), who was so devastated by her early death at the age of 35 that he put her portrait into permanent storage.
