Llangoed Hall (Llangoed Castle)

  • Earlier Houses: It's possible that the White Palace, the home of the first Welsh parliament, was site on, or near, the site of the current house. There was also a medieval house, Llangoed Castle, on the site.

House & Family History: Llangoed Hall is primarily known today because of its association with Bernard Ashley, Laura Ashley's widower, who purchased the house and restored and decorated it in Laura Ashley style as a country house hotel in the 1980s.
