House & Family History: Little Wenham is one of the earliest examples of homemade brick in England; this is especially unusual, as it was used here in a house rather, than a keep, which would have been the traditional use for brick in 13th century England.

Comments: Little Wenham is considered one of the most significant 13th century domestic buildings in England.
