    House & Family History: Little Thakeham is an H-shaped Cotswold style manor house built of locally quarried coursed stone. Though an early 20th building, Lutyens so convincingly designed the house, and used such appropriate materials, that Little Thakeham looks as if it stepped out of the 16th century. The house was listed for sale for £6 million in May 2016; in May of 2020 it was listed for sale again, this time at £5.5 million. Little Thakeham served as a hotel in the late 20th century.

    Comments: Little Thakeham is considered one of Lutyens's best houses.
