    House & Family History: Robert More II was a noted botanist and friend of Carl Linnaeus, the Swedish botanist who formalized the modern system of naming organisms. More himself was responsible for reintroducing the larch into England.

    Collections: Christie's held a sale of the contents on March 9, 2016 that brought £2.8 million. A number of pieces sold from Linley at the 2016 sale are today in the collection of Onslow Park.
