House & Family History: In the 1960s the house was converted into four homes; in 2017 Lewins was reconverted back into a single family home. In 2022 the house, together with four acres, was listed for sale for £3 million.

Notes: Educated at Dumfermline Commercial Academy, McKean was articled to William Hardie Hay and James Murdoch Hay between 1856 and 1859. He was assistant to David Bryce, Campbell Douglas, John James Stevenson, William Eden Nesfield, and Richard Norman Shaw. Brydon began independent practice in 1871 and was in partnership with William Wallace beginning in 1880.
