Leamaneh Castle (Lemeneagh Castle)

    House & Family History: A stone fireplace from one of Leamaneh's state rooms is today in the Old Ground Hotel in nearby Ennis.

  • Garden & Outbuildings: By the end of the 17th century the Leamaneh Estate spanned over 10,000 acres. In the early 20th century (circa 1907) the barbican-like entrance gates to the house were moved to Dromoland Castle by Lord Inchiquin.
