Juniper Hill

  • Earlier Houses: There was an earlier Edwardian house on the site of the current house.

    House & Family History: Juniper Hill was designed by Quinlan Terry in 1998-99 for Warren and Tessa Hardy, completed in 2000 ("MM" on the two porticoes) on the site of an Edwardian house, and occupied by the Hardys in March 2002. The House is noted for its fine cantilevered stone staircase. Warren Hardy founded the cellular telephone distributor European Telecom in 1990, which was floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1996. Late in 2002 the house sold for £7 million after European Telecom suffered financial difficulties. In 2007 Juniper Hill and 4.25 aces were for sale for £8 million.
