House & Family History: In 1650, during the English Civil War, Huntington was captured by Oliver Cromwell as he marched on Kilkenny. Since 1976 the castle's basement has been a home of the Fellowship of Isis, an international spiritual organization devoted to promoting awareness of the Goddess Isis.
