House & Family History: During World War I the House of Falkland was used as a convalescent home; during World War II the house served as a home for Polish airmen. Since 1984 the House of Falkland has been a school for boys with additional support needs.
Chapel & Church: Near the house are the ruins of the Crichton-Stuart Memorial Chapel. Today a roofless shell, the chapel was built as a memorial to a son of the house who died young.
