House & Family History: Ralph Cauldwell, for whom Hilborough was built, was the agent at Holkham Hall and his house shares some exterior elements (e.g., the balustrades) with that famous house. The interiors of Hilborough Hall were executed in the Adam style and feature paintings by Biagio Rebecca. In 2023 the house, together with 11 acres, was listed for sale for £2.65 million.
Garden & Outbuildings: The 6,436-acre estate was dismantled at the time of 1985 sale.
