Hamptworth Lodge

    House & Family History: Hamptworth Lodge was an old Jacobean Wiltshire manor house that was demolished in 1910 by H.C. Moffat to make way for a new Tudor-style house, built for Moffat to the designs of Sir Guy Dawber. Hamptworth was listed for sale in 2013 for £11 million.

  • Garden & Outbuildings: The garden was designed by the noted landscape architect Thomas Mawson in 1912. (We are grateful to Colin Stanfield for this information).
