House & Family History: The Blois family moved to the House during the time of Henry III. Hall is from the Pre-Reformation period. Brampton Gurdon purchased the House from Sir John Blois, 5th Baronet, in 1771. The Gurdons were made Lords Cranworth in 1899. The front of House was made in the early 19th century. David Mlinaric performed some interior redecoration for Lord Cranworth.
