Frescati House

    House & Family History: The famous Emily FitzGerald, Duchess of Leinster, raised and educated her children at Blackrock. The house was the favorite home of Lord Edward FitzGerald, Emily's son and a prominent commander of the United Irishmen. The name Frescati is a corruption of the resort of Frascati in the Lazio region of central Italy.
