Fairford Park

  • Built / Designed For: Andrew Barker

    House & Family History: Fairford Park was modeled on Coleshill. In 1948, the National Trust refused the estate; in 1955 Fairford was sold to the county council; in 1957 the House was demolished.

  • Garden & Outbuildings: William Eames re-landscaped formal gardens circa 1789. Sir John Soane is believed to have created the Doric orangery. The Doric Temple is today at Barnsley House garden.
