Eynsham Hall (Estelle Manor)

    House & Family History: During World War II part of Eynsham was used as a maternity ward for expectant mothers evacuated from London. Referred to as the "flak shack," it was also used as an R&R station by U.S. Army Air Corps officers. From 1946 until the late 20th century Eynsham was a police college and training center; in 2018 the house was rebranded as Estelle Manor country house hotel and club.
