    House & Family History: Emsworth is the only surviving villa of James Gandon's to survive intact. It was built at the end of the 18th century for James Woodmason, a successful Dublin stationer. In 2012 the house was listed for sale for €4.5 million; in 2017 the house, together with 17 acres, was listed for sale for €7.5 million.
