Notes: Articled to Samuel Hewitt between 1856 and 1860. Attended the Royal Academy Schools; won the Gold Medal in 1859. In the office of William Allen Boulnois. Partner of Thomas Vaughan, 1861-71. Worked with Harold Peto in the firm of George & Peto between 1876 to 1890 and with Alfred Yeates and in the firm of George & Yeates from 1893. George was Knighted in 1911 and retired from practice in 1919.

Notes: Tripp was a 19th century Gloucestershire architect who attended Gloucester School of Art and was was articled to James Medland and Alfred William Maberley. He was later clerk in the office of Medland & Maberley and managing clerk for William Chick, county surveyor of Herefordshire. Tripp began independent practice in 1872.
