Dunsland House

  • House & Family History: Dunsland had a Tuyor South Wing, with additions of 1660, and a large East Wing of circa 1690. The House was acquired by the National Trust in 1954 and burned down in 1967 while undergoing restoration.

    Comments: Pevsner called Dunsland "Devon's most tragic loss since the last war".
