Donnington Castle House

    House & Family History: During World War II the British government requisitioned the house for use as staff accommodation for the 101st Airborne of the United States Air Force, known as the Screaming Eagles. During the time it was owned by the Parker-Bowles family Donnington Castle House regularly hosted Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and Princess Margaret. In 2024 the house, together with 23 acres, was listed sale for £9 million.
