Darnaway Castle (Tarnaway Castle)

    House & Family History: The Stuart family purchased Darnaway in 1562. In 1802 a new house in a Gothic French style was designed by Alexander Laing for the 9th Earl of Moray. The 14th century hall (the finest medieval hall in Scotland) was incorporated into the house of 1802.

    Collections: Darnaway contains a fine collection of family portraits.
