Earlier Houses: The core of the current house was originally a medieval grange of the abbots of Abingdon.

House & Family History: Culham Manor is comprised of two low wings on an L-shaped plan. The West Wing, circa 15th century, was part of the medieval grange of the abbots of Abingdon. The House was remodeled in the early 17th century by Thomas Bury. In 2003 the House, together with 11 acres, was listed for sale for £2.5 million.

Garden & Outbuildings: The garden contains a 17th century sundial that sits on a 13th century column, as well as a brick and stone rectangular dovecote of 1685 that contains 4,000 nesting places.
