House & Family History: Most of the interiors by Soane have been destroyed. In 1998 the entire Cricket St. Thomas Estate was put up for sale and subsequently purchased by Warner Leisure Hotels, which built two large blocks to the east of the House as part of a new hotel. Cricket St. Thomas is particularly noted for its TV fame, when its exterior was used as the fictional Grantleigh Manor the in the TV series "To the Manor Born."
Garden & Outbuildings: For 20 years during the 20th century there was a wildlife park on the estate. Today the House sits in a Park of 160 acres.
