Notes: London architect who was articled to his father, Henry Jones Lanchester. H.V. Lanchester was later assistant to Frederick James Eedle, Thomas William Cutler, and George Campbell Sherrin. He passed his qualifying exam in in 1888 and began independent practice the same year. He was in partnership with James S. Stewart, Edwin Alfred Rickards, Thomas Geoffry Lucas, and Thomas Arthur Lodge. H.V. was later joined in his practice by his son, Henry Robert Lanchester. This practice continues today as Lanchester & Lodge.

His practices continues to operate today under the name of Lanchester & Lodge.
