Chacombe Priory (The Priory)

  • Earlier Houses: There was a priory of Augustinian Canons founded at Chacombe in the mid-12th century; there is no evidence of these 13th century buildings today.

    House & Family History: Chacombe Priory has house Elizabethan and Georgian elements. To the north of the east end of the House is a medieval building known as the Chapel.
