Candacraig House

  • Earlier Houses: There has been a house on, or near, the site of the current house since 1579.

    House & Family History: The actor Billy Connolly purchased Candacraig House in 1998 from Body Shop founder Anita Roddick for £590,000; he sold the estate in 2013 for approximately £2.75 million to a Scottish-American couple, Marc and Lynne Lino (she's Scottish and he's American). During Connolly's ownership Candacraig hosted many musical performances and famous guests such as Judi Dench, Ewan McGregor, Steve Martin, and the late Robin Williams.
