Buckingham House (91 Pall Mall)

    House & Family History: Buckingham House was a seven-bay house in Pall Mall. The House was particularly noted for its large oval Staircase Hall designed by John Soane, a watercolor sketch of which is today in the collection of Sir John Soane's Museum, London. The Hall had eight Ionic columns that were painted to resemble Siena marble; the floor above contained a row of Coade Stone caryatids.
