  • Earlier Houses: The current house replaced an earlier Jacobean house.

    House & Family History: John Heyworth inherited the Bradwell Estate from his grandfather, Colonel Heyworth-Savage, in 1949; twenty years later he decided to open the Wildlife Park to the public. The former Dining Room is now a brass rubbing center and the Drawing Room is used for meetings and lectures. The old Library and Conservatory are today a bar and dining area.

  • Garden & Outbuildings: The Stables and outbuildings have been converted into the Reptile House and the Bat Belfry and sit in the midst of 120 acres of gardens and parkland. The House is part of the 3,300-acre Bradwell Grove Estate.
