Bapton Manor

  • House & Family History: Cecil Chubb, who owned Bapton Manor in the early 20th century, purchased nearby Stonehenge in 1915 for £6,600; he donated it to the nation in 1918. In 2025 the house, together with approximately 1,800 acres, was listed for sale for £25 million.
