House & Family History: Ballywalter is particularly noted for its two-story hall, carried on Doric columns on the first floor and Corinthian columns and pilasters on the second floor. The hall, which is 60 feet long, is lit by two stained glass domes and features a stone imperial staircase with an ironwork balustrade.
